There are many ways of identifying the target audience. You can give them a series of questions about your film to tell if they are interested in the film or not. You can do this for any type of genre for any film. You can also make one to tell what type of things they like to do when watching films e.g. using there phones, eating and drinking and if the room is dark or bright.
Kieron - you need to define the audience of your genre. You need to find out what type of people watch that genre. You need to consider their age, gender, socio-econimic status, nationality, lifestyle, hobbies, location etc.
